Biscuit and Button's house

Wonder: I take a deep breath through my nose. "Cars, grass, you three, my house, a bird in that tree over there..." I point to the tree with my tail. "Other scents"

Tanka: I snort. "Ah, I have much to teach you. Really breath in and out, and open your mouth a bit. Don't focus on anything, and, you will not get it straight away, do not worry. But practice thinking of nothing, taking deep breathes, it will help."

Wonder: I do as he says. "I smell.... oh! I smell mouse!"

Tanka: "Slightly better, but please remember, it may take a few days, maybe even a week. Now, sound. What can you really hear?"

Wonder: I listen. "I hear scuffling of the mouse's paws. I hear our breathing. I hear a bird."

Tanka: I nod. "Doing what I just told you help all your senses, but for the ears, go to some place really quiet, close your ears, and then go out after a while.

Biscuit: "I hear birds chirping and leaves rustling."
Button: "I hear the same but cars rolling across the road as well as doors opening and shutting. Rats scuttling inside the roof and other sounds but I don't know what they are."

Wonder: I head for a bush and close my eyes and ears. I come out slowly and open my ears. I am astounded to hear lots of things. "A bird screeching high overhead, a small kitten mewling, a mother cat hushing the kitten, a mouse family, the mice heartbeats, our breaths and heartbeats..."

Tanka: "You only hear a little of these things, I can hear the wind rustling, and it feels like I can hear scents shifting. It will take time, but it will happen."

Biscuit: "I can hear cars and a family of twolegs inside... I think."

Wonder: I nod

Tanka: I purr. "Very good for right now, but it will be better, you see. Also, you can feel and almost see with your whiskers."

Wonder: I nod again (#somuchbordemXD)

Button and Biscuit: I nod, sort of understanding.

Wonder: I (WAIT FOR IT)

Wonder: I watch Button and flick my ear, happiness warming my heart (eeew waaaay too mushy XD)

Tanka: "Do either of you have claws, or claws removed?"

Biscuit: "I have claws! And they're sharp!"
Button: "I have claws too."

Tanka: I look over to Wonder. "Wonder, do you have claws?"

Wonder: I shrink under my pelt. "No." I whisper. "They were removed when I was 3 moons old."

Button: "Ouchie."

Tanka: I look at her with disapproval. "You may rely on another catch on hunting for you then." Then I look at the two with claws. "You will need to learn to hunt, and kill."

Wonder: I nod sadly, knowing how much of a burden I'd be now

Biscuit: "Cool!"
Button: I rub against Wonder for comfort.

Wonder: I purr, comforted by Button

Tanka: "Are any of you hungry?"
